Carlos' Adios

The last time these two gentlemen were in the same photo they were flanking my daughter on her last night in Mexico. Tonight, we gathered at El Murmullo for a goodbye dinner for our good friend Carlos (on the left). He leaves Friday for new adventures and we will miss him greatly. In our two and a half years here, he has become like another son to us. He has taught me how to surf, he has introduced us to a number of volleyball players and activities, he has shown us outstanding restaurants, and he has always been available to chat and share a beer. Zihuatanejo will not be the same without Carlos in town, but he is embarking on a new path in his life and we wish him only the best.
