Limoges

We thought we had better make up for inactivity yesterday and left "early" (9 ish) for Limoges. We spotted this little girl being studied by a flock of pigeons in the Pl. de la Republique. We spent a long time looking round the old part of the city and visiitng some of the beautiful Churches before we decided to be "real tourists" and boarded the road train with English commentary for a proper tour of the city. Having gorged ourselves on ice cream and coffee we eventually returned to the car. A short stop at the hypermarket on the outskirst and back to the site. We were told that there had been a thunderstorm in our absence - that is not our usual kind of luck!
