Light through glass door.

I was opening the front door this morning to let a guest out,(we do allow them to leave occasionally), when I noticed this design on the wall. I don't know exactly what you would call it but it's caused by the sun shining through the stained glass of the door. Is it a shadow, a reflection or what? Any suggestions? The funny thing is, I've probably seen it hundreds of times and only thought to capture it today. It's nice in B&W too but only one blip a day.
