Color and Shape

I was at a meeting of the small camera club we've started at work called Out Of Focus. We set it up as a community on Google+. Our next theme is color and shape, so I snapped this blip.

I don't know what the symbol means. It was fastened to a telephone pole. Only the power company knows for sure.
