Private Lawn

The Royal Crescent is one of the most prestigious and expensive addresses in Bath.
The residents enjoy exclusive rights to use a private lawn which is separated from the park used by 'lower orders' by a sunken ditch [a ha-ha] which is invisible from the houses of the Crescent, giving the impression that the lawn and landscape are one and undivided.
Here two residents exercise their right to sunbathing exclusivity.
The crowds below looked as though they were having way more fun though.
Or as Joan Collins put it 'Loneliness is the universal problem of rich people'
