Sunrise over Syria

Refugee camps are well-known "side effects" of any conflict. The mass-migration of people inside the country is less now. In Syria, especially, the situation is dramatic. Some 0.25 million people are internally displaced within the country where international aid is very limited due to political and security issues. While the refugee camps are pretty well served by many huge international NGOs, the Syrians trapped inside are almost without help.

The picture shows a school class converted into refugee shelter inside Syria... It's usually occupied by 1-2 families of IDPs (Internally-displaced people), if possible. Many schools are used for this purpose and - of course - this impacts education.
