Black Oystercatcher

Out to Patiti Point to soak in the winter sun and enjoy the view.
Had a walk on the beach to see what was available to photograph, some old piles driven into the gravel, interesting but not enough. Some seascapes... not interesting enough, some erosion pictures of the cliffs.... boring. A ha Oystercatchers doing their best to evade me.... now there is a challenge. This one standing in the receding surf giving me the eye. Gotcha.
