The Bradley House, Kakakee, IL

On our way down to a family reunion in Watseka, my family stopped by the town of Kankakee to take a tour of the Bradley House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. This house was built in 1901 and is the first example of Wright's "Prairie Style" of architecture. This is the first Frank Lloyd Wright house I've had the opportunity to visit, and I found it very inspiring with regards to my own projects. I liked many aesthetic aspects of his design and will probably incorporate some of them into the interior details of my house as I continue to remodel it this summer and fall.
