The bus posse

The bus posse were outraged today after being refused boarding of the 17:14. Having a bus posse is rather a depressing result of having a regular job and no car. I spend an hour everyday in close proximity to these people and have come to know plenty about their habits and oddities. There's the one who picks up two copies of Metro: one to read and one to sit on, there's the one who does that 'I'm sneezing!' sound effect whenever she sneezes (which is a lot at the moment), then there's the one who does Sudoku whilst squeezing his temples from the stress of putting numbers into boxes.

We were all denied boarding of the bus because it was already full. The bus posse did not take this well:

'Well! Never! Not in all my days!'
'..Well that's just not right'
'...It's never full!'
'...No it's not! Never before!
'...Well, I've never known such a thing!'

This went on for quite some time and the bus posse no doubt delighted in the bonding that this unusual situation afforded.

The bus driver explained that 45 foreign exchange students had got on at the previous stop.

'Well!'
'..Forty-five!'
'.. Foreign Exchange Students!'
'..Previous stop!'

This also went on for quite some time and was followed by talk of not being able to 'get the stew on' and having to 'ring Barry'

I am hoping that, despite being the newest member of the bus posse, I will be the first to leave its ranks. Please!

edit:oh and I had a nice walk around whilst waiting for the next bus, beautiful combination of rainclouds and sun
