Crowds...what crowds...?

Every year , I have at least one visit to Bournemouth beach.. I have fond memories of the place and when all is said and done it is a fantastic sandy beach and the water is lovely to swim in. But oh my word , arriving today was like turning up at Dante's Inferno......hot, crowded and full of people over indulging .

I got quite a few funny looks trying to take this picture and it was impossible to see what kind of shot I was getting , but I did think the final image was an interesting contrast to what most people would have experienced on the beach today
