I can't take any credit - it was all Sam's work, I just pressed the shutter.

Mackerel with pickled cucumber, balsamic tomatoes, sweet chicory, garlic croutons and a delicious pea pesto.

A grand way to celebrate the start of my 4 weeks holiday.
What a day for it to start too! Meant that my colleagues and I could sit outside at the Ettrick after work. I'm slightly jealous of some of their travel plans, but less so when the weather in Edinburgh is quite so good.
