Portland, Oregon

We left Seattle this morning on the Coast Starlight, an overnight train to San Francisco. An hour stopover in Portland permitted time to stretch our legs. This is a pretty nice train and the scenery is fantastic. As a rule, when you are a twosome for dining, you are seated with another twosome because the table holds four (kind of like golf). We had extraordinary dinner conversation tonight having been seated with the comedian Keegan-Michael Key from the Comedy Central network show"Key and Peele. He and his wife Cynthia were great fun and very interesting to spend time with.
