Summer colours

The waterside at Wick is a collection of colours, The car park along the riverside is the best place to park to go into the centre of the town. I was just leaving my car when I saw this composition of colour and shape, from the orange van and canoe, to the green wheel and the red and blues. The bridge in the background looks interesting and the houses on the brae beyond finish the whole picture.
Last picture I took here was one of water more than a foot deep where I am standing now, and waves breaking over the rail at the river side. It was the bad flood and gales of the winter, I had been parked there on Friday night and I left as the waves stared to come over, very close call.
