Normal Service Is Resumed

Something has happened to our cats. Maybe it's because the terrace doors are open but there has been no cat terror this weekend. Or maybe I just slept right through it... That is a distinct possibility.

Today's rose is very pretty, don't you think?

Quite a lazy day but a very tense one.

For those with no interest in cricket, I suggest you hit the home button or something, what follows will not be edifying in any way.

The Test Match between England and Australia went into its fifth day. Australia needing 136 runs but with only 4 wickets remaining.

It is difficult to convey how a game can last 5 days and still be totally compelling.

Cricket can do that.

I've been an England supporter for so long, I take nothing for granted. There are always ways to lose games.

Thankfully though, England won and I'm sure the bloodied stumps where my finger nails used to be will grow back in time.
