So today we mowed the garden, three years of neglected lawn, infested with wild grasses makes for a beautiful shot at dawn or early evening, but a considerable fire risk at any other time of day. This is me carting barrow loads of hay to what I optimistically thought would be a compost heap. Now a compost mountain!
