New Basket

I'm so tired of all those plastic bags I'm offered in every shop and on the market!! So I bought a handmade Ukrainian basket. And initiated it with tomatoes, cherries and maize.

We had a birthday party today. Our landlord's stepdaughter turned 7 years. A horde of kids and parents on the beach, later pizza and birthday cake for the kids and barbecue and homemade wine for the parents. The hosts and we as we're living with them were quite relieved when it all was over...

About 29 C and sun. Some thunder was there at noon but no rain.
