The Number 91

We love London buses. They seem to come when you want them, generally they take you to where you want to get to and the journey is so much more interesting than any by Tube. Of course they're a novelty to us, not having any buses where we live. And of course the fact that they are free for us helps somewhat! Sometimes I do feel a bit guilty about having a bus pass, but it's one of the few perks of getting old and, as we never use them at home because of the said lack of buses, we don't feel too bad about using them when we're down here.

Another hot day in the city. In the afternoon we used various means of transport to make it to our daughter's, where we shared a delicious barbecue with our grandchildren. Wonderful!
