Dictionary Project Day 1

At last I`ve started my 14 days of Dictionary Project.
Having realised I didn`t own a dictionary, I toyed with the idea of going into W H Smith every day and taking a dictionary off the shelf and sneakily picking my word for the day. Then I thought "Hmm not a good idea, people might give me strange looks and I could end up being asked to leave"

I called into the charity shop "Mind" on my way home today and purchased a 1979 copy of "The Popular Oxford Dictionary" for the princely sum of £1.25, so now I can pick my words in the privacy of my own home and not have to rely on Hebs picking one for me as she threatened to do
