Derwentwater

First unescorted day of the week at LPH today and the weather was gorgeous again.
The whole group went out together for the day.
We started at Ashness Landing Stage and walked along the shore of the lake from there. The water level was quite low so it was easy to walk around.

From there we moved up to Watendleth for a welcome cup of tea and spent much of the rest of the day around the Tarn there.
We returned via Surprise View intending to visit John Gravett's exhibition at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick but the road was closed due to an accident so we detoured around Derwentwater via Grange and then back to LPH.
