River-Trip day :-)

Just had to do the boat-trip along the Rhein today!

Here's the sturdy craft in which we spent the afternoon.

Was very nice to escape (somewhat) the heat of the city for a few hours.

The Rhein really does 'command' the entire area around Cologne. Rivers are so very different on the continent.
