Black & White

The German summer came roaring and scorching back in today.  It's brutally hot out there - way too hot for me.  The Biergarten at Haus Himmelreich will be packed.

Having worked in pubs and restaurants, I do not envy the too few staff running around in this heat.  Think about it - you have 150 customers (some stay for an hour, some longer and there is always a queue), there are 3 of you serving and cleaning up, you'll be chasing your tail for 8 hours and then you get to close up, clean up again and then go home. 

A game for younger people than me.  I'm happy if I can get out of bed without making weird noises.
