Day Seven in Kos

Our last day in beautiful Kos. What a lovely week we've had!

As it was our final day, we indulged at breakfast by having creppes & waffles, or as we've coined them, Craffles! You heard it here first kids! We lazed by the pool pretty much all day, like normal (going to miss this version of 'like normal', tedious administrative work & cupfulls of coffee is going to get old quite quickly). After we'd sizzled, we into the bowels of the hotel to make use of the 'courtesy room', which we'd been told we were welcome to use...

Now, you might forgive us for thinking that this 'room' was in fact a standard hotel room, much like the one we'd had for the last week. In reality, it was a big bathroom with loos & showers. Minor shock over, we got ready for dinner & prepared for the long night ahead. It was very nice in any case & we'd actually timed it perfectly as it was overrun with departing guests as we finished up.

We had a lovely meal with Paulo & Jo, & then settled in for the evenings disco entertainment. The less said about that the better, but questionable choices is all I will say. Sashaying on, this is the view of the restaurant, bar & terrace area overlooking the main pool area, just before the disco kicked off. I really like the reflections cast in the pools enticing glow. I think we've come full circle with our book-ended reflective holiday shots.

Before it got too late, our coach arrived, we said our goodbyes, Spartak getting the biggest of the lot, & then off we set for a joyful night at the cattle shed that is Kos Airport. Thankfully Jo & Paulo were also traveling back tonight too, & so we were all on hand to keep sanity levels at a manageable level & to keep the laughs flowing.
4.30am was take off time, & there's wasn't a great deal to do inside the airport (it's not quite on the same scale as Gatwick), so a long night we did have...

What a fantastic holiday!
