Skippy

I spotted this skipper butterfly skipping amongst the grass seedheads this evening. I was hoping that it was an Essex skipper as I like to promote the county of my birth. :)

It is actually a male small skipper I think. Its antennae are not black underneath and the sex brand, a line of scent scales on its wing, is at an angle to the wing edge.
