Walking the Stopbank

Went on a two hour walk on the stopbank of the Wairau River this morning with a great friend LD and her two Springer Spaniels. They look so alike, we're not sure which one this one is. There was a hard frost, and it was 1.5C when we left the house at 10am. But two hours later it had risen to 10C. The Mistress reckons the temperature rose from all the exercise - energy out and all that!

After lunch it was up to town to learn how to upgrade firmware on me from TD, then to the Ortho Surgeon who has found a small piece of bone in the Mistress's elbow joint from a fall earlier this year at the Mussel Festival.

So ACC forms have been sent away and we await a date :( The Mistress told me she may not be able to pick me up for a month when it happens, but reckons that's not as bad as not being able to do up a Brassiere! Heaven forbid, the hang loose mother goose look will give everyone in the near vicinity black eyes!
