After The Rain

We had another swim meet canceled by weather tonight. Ironically, it was a makeup meet from the June 27th rainout. Tonight we got 3 events in before the thunder forced everyone off the deck and under cover. It never really rained, but the lightning was close enough to cause concern. When it finally did rain, about an hour and a half after the cancellation, it came down in torrential buckets! Once it was over, the sky outside turned orange; the kind that gives everything a weird eerie glow. That's when I stepped out on the front porch and snapped this shot through the neighbors trees.
