Glendaruel

This morning I was in two forestry plantations in my own area that have been put up for sale by the Forestry Commission. This is the view from one of them, the Ormidale forest, looking down to Glendaruel which from this vantage point looks very much a classic Highland Glen - fertile, well contained and with a lovely river running through it. On the far side the forest nearest the right on the slop of the hill is, I think, part of the Stronofian Forest that has been sold to the local community.

It has been an overcast day and in that regard the lowering dark cloud in the picture is like that in yesterday's blip, though it is taken from about a thousand feet lower down.
