One way to beat the tramworks...

Miss out those pesky tramworks on Princes Street, by taking a detour through Princes Street Gardens!

To be honest, I've seen this car driving through the gardens a few times, and have seen it parked up outside the wee building at the east end (next to the Mound) quite often. Although it obviously must be a member of staff, I had to chuckle at the vision of a white Peugeot 406 driving through Princes Street Gardens - had the driver been driving a bit faster, it could have quite easily been a scene from "Taxi".

In kitchen news, things are progressing nicely - started on the wallpaper tonight! Just need to pick tiles this weekend and fit them, and we should be almost done!
