Elmstone Church, Near Preston, Kent.

Cycling day today - 50 miles right round the North Kent Coast from Reculver to Ramsgate, then back inland via Sandwich to Canterbury.

Apologies for blipping two churches on consecutive days, but as I wasn't cycling alone, I couldn't keep stopping to take pictures! I did stop for this lovely church however. I visualised it in b&w but seeing the roses on screen at home (and the flat featureless sky), I've decided to leave it in colour -unusual for me!

A little History of the Church.

The church which is without dedication dates from the 12th century with 14th century extension and restoration in 1878 and 1900.
