Snail

Finally managed to catch up a bit with comments - thank you all very much.

I spotted this snail s I headed off for an evening visit at our local hospital. Fortunately it hadn't moved far by the time I got home!

As this is all about the shape and texture I thought I'd try a b & w shot. I also thought some sort of frame might look good, but I've given up hunting on my laptop for something that added to the image.
