Breakfast walk

Down on the beach before (a late) breakfast, and there was no one else there but the black cap gulls, wading at the water's edge.
Later in the day, we had a picnic in the Exmoor forest, and then followed a trail to England's tallest tree! A Douglas fir which stood at over 60 m or 197ft in 2009.
It was beautiful in the forest, with so many different trees! Very quiet with just a babbling brook to keep us company.
And to end the day, we've been on the beach again, so warm at 9pm and the sun setting on the horizon, reflecting on a very calm sea!
