Descent

Reached the top of Fuji-san mid-morning, and passed the post office to reach the highest point in Japan! The crater was huge and deep with the sick colours of minerals painted over its walls. Sunbleached cedar gates dotted the rim. We then turned and began trotting down the mountain. There was a long steep sand run, so we dropped 1000m vertically in about 30 mins, much easier than the way up...
