The Birthday Party

Si surpassed himself this evening. He played the character of Stanley in Harold Pinter's 'The Birthday Party' at our local theatre. He was especially nervous because a large group of his friends plus his mum trooped in to see him. The play is quite intense, with its fair share of falling over, shouting, screaming, and the odd bit of humour. Fantastic! I know he's worked extremely hard over the past few months to get into character and it's really payed off.

It was lovely to see everyone and chat over Tunnock's Tea Cakes (this being the staple biscuit of the South London Theatre).
