Rural Idyll?

Another perch in the hand - this one rather larger at half a pound or so.

The photo doesn't tell the real story - immediately behind me is the bridge for the dual carriageway over the Great Western Canal, which is where this spiky character was tempted from his shadowy home.

As I was leaving I did see his big brother...much bigger...but I was out of time for today.
