Scotch Mist

Here is an accurate reflection of today's weather. Low lying cloud. No mountains to be seen. Annoying to watch the news and see that everywhere other than the NW of Scotland, and the Northern Isles, coloured red for "heatwave"...

So we took ourselves to Ullapool and enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Ceilidh Place and a wander around the shops. Home then via the Achiltiebuie Piping School which runs a fantastic cafe for tourists. They offer delicious home-baking - including a truly life-enhancing clootie dumpling.
