Great Egrets

The Eastern Shore National Wildlife Refuge is an amazing sanctuary located on the southern tip of the peninsula at Cape Charles. It was very hot but there were countless beautiful butterflies flitting around. Further along there were marshlands with baby Blue Crabs, Great Egrets, Laughing Gulls, swallows, and a million dragonflies!

We also stopped at Kiptopeke State Park for an hour and watched another gorgeous sunset for which Virginia's Eastern Shore is famous.
