Sea Perch...catch and release...

Beautiful 16 degree winter day so took the boat
down the Queen Charlotte Sound for a spot
of blue cod fishing....
Managed to briefly hook this colorful Sea Perch
which I quickly threw back after a snap....
It is a slow growing, long living fish( up to 45 years! )
that is related to Scorpion fish..A lovely day on the water....
