Dahlia

Just for a change, I went out specifically today to photograph some flowers. In collaboration with the National Dahlia Collection in Penzance, the Valley Gardens in Harrogate has a lovely display of single flowered dahlias, in an attempt to attract more pollinating insects.

Since I know little about flowers, I am relying on the little tag attached to the plant for its given name Ruskin Harmony.
