Towards or Away from?

Continuing our discussions from the last few days - do sunflowers face towards or away from the sun - this lot don't appear to have got their act together either way! Some haven't even woken up yet. Mind you it was early this morning on our early ride to avoid the heat.

Thinking of the Tour riders today not just doing Alpe d'Huez once but twice! Weather and storms permitting.
