Dordogne

Now nestled along the banks of the Dordogne. Mix of fast toll roads and much slower country roads down from La Rochelle.

Tired from driving. Although V did a couple of stints in the toll roads.

Would love to stay for more than the one night booked but limited time means we must press on.

Will try and do things differently next time.

Our next stop Rocamadour, a place I visited years ago with an old friend is the reason for the dash this far south in the short time we have and, a booking at Puy du Fou in a few days time limits available time. Shame but gives us a reason to come back.

Ps. We are assured it’s harmless but just had the shock of our lives when a 3 foot snake just slithered past us and under the motorhome.
