A better bee blip...

It was so hot that I didn't even try for a blip until early evening. I swapped my trusty tamron 18-270 for my 50mm prime which doesn't get much use. The fixed focal length and lack of VC took a bit of getting used to, but I got a few decent shots. I did have to crop this right down, and it is a bit soft focus, but I liked the composition. And yes, the bee was upside down! It's possibly worth a look in Large.

I'm going to leave this lens on my camera for a few days and see what I can manage. I'm thinking of investing in a 40mm prime lens, so I had better get some practice in.
