To spray or not to spray!

Another scorchio day and the watering of the garden is now a serious task as the H2O seems to dry in amost instantaneously. A couple of hours of spraying and the grass is sodden but it either soaks in or evaporates away in a few minutes.
And now we have talk of a hosepipe ban! Will my trusty tubing be legally consigned to the back of the garage or will "Wee Eck" Salmond arrange for some rain to refill our reservoirs? We shall see.
