Great ball of fire

Well, that's what the sun looked like reflected in the river as I was making my wayto choir practice this evening.

Norwich Pride is on Saturday 27th July but we have a couple of singing engagements in the build-up to Saturday. Monday evening is the opening of the Pride Without Prejudice art exhibition, which I will be exhibiting at, and the choir is one of the items of entertainment at the opening; Thursday we have our final rehearsal before Pride but we're also doing a 'micro concert' of some of our Out140 songs during the tea break. It's free and will last about 5 minutes - we are offering free tea and cake to anyone who comes along to that.

Also at the exhibition opening on Monday evening my chum Vince Laws - artist and poet - is re-creating his 'happening' entitled 'Banned'. This involves him painting the faces of 76 people, each with the name of a country in which homosexuality is illegal. It went down a storm when he did it in Brighton earlier in the year. It will probably feature as my blip entry for Monday.
