FRESH FISH!

Marseilles is the second largest French city after Paris. It is also the oldest in the country as it was founded by the Phocean Greeks. In 2013, it was elected as the European Capital of Culture.
But Marseilles is a large Mediterranean harbor. The Old Port ('Vieux Port') still retains its old charm and its colony of fishermen. Every morning, there is a fresh fish market, where the latest catch is being sold by female fishmongers, who have become a cultural legend.
My Blip of the Day is an attempt to capture the feeling of this daily scene. The lady's open mouth utters her loud southern accent to sell her fresh fish to customers.
