And Bang Went Friday

Up early, like cat early, to request that the Vierbeiniger (4-legged ones) behave just a little bit. They complied. I was so surprised, I couldn't get back to sleep.

However, this meant that I was in the office really rather nice and early, and this in turn meant that I could leave at 5:30 having clocked up another 2 hours flex time.

Not that I'm ever going to get the chance to use my flex time. We've got projects stacking up at a rate of knots. The rest of this year and most of next year will not be boring.

We had a moment of panic this morning when logging in. I've written a little script that makes sure all my folders are available and today it didn't do it's usual "Everything is tickety-boo, carry on". No, today it said "Ohhh bad news. The following folders are not available - " and then listed all the folders that we've been adding changes to for the last 6 months.

It was not a good moment for underpants*.

However, things were not as they were reported and everything was fine. But for 30 seconds or so, things looked grim.

The rest of the day whizzed past in a blur of code and testing. We're looking good to go.

*No real underpants were soiled in the course of today's work.
