Ghost sighting

After 3 days of humid 90's our home A/C gave up the ghost last night.

This am I thought I'd take pictures of the model numbers on the compressor guts. I opened the access panel...

And saw the ghost! (Hint: the purple wire doesn't have a home)

This evening I replaced the wire connection, and viola! Conditioned air!

When you're lucky, it's easy to be a genius! Heh heh.
