Spot the Pigeon

Seed thrown on the lawn feeds the ducks who visit, the squirrels and the songbirds. If the crows take an interest, they also take precedence (they see to that!). I also put seed out on the balcony for some of the more shy songbirds.

Something started consuming it in voracious quantities. I've finally managed to capture this portrait of the culprit. As they also feed on the lawn, it seems this pigeon is, in short, a pig.

I'll probably resume putting seed out when winter starts to bite once more...
