Wear your summer clothes

Today we hopped on the train and headed into Edinburgh for the Mardi Gras. This is the event that marks the start of the Jazz and Blues Festival. I'm not really a big fan of jazz or blues - or Mardi Gras, come to think of it - but felt it was a nice day for a wander around around Edinburgh. It was. We went to the Mosque Kitchen for lunch and bumped into my Mum and some of her friends an ambled back through Princes Street gardens.

I didn't bring my camera. Charlie said: "Just take pictures with your eyes". That's what I did. Sadly, it's a bit more difficult to share these.

In other news, I just ran 10k. Woo-hoo!
