Fire Pit

After 2 weeks of very hot weather, today started overcast & drizzly. The drizzle cleared up, but there was no sign of a sun the whole day.

We went to Sarah's coffee morning for TEECH & had cupcakes & carrot cake for breakfast. Saw an ex-colleague whom I haven't seen for years. She looks good.

The guest for the work braai arrived at 3. The children ran around in the wheat filed like crazy chickens. If we have the press here tomorrow to record unexplained crop circles, we'll know why.

After eveyone left we ended the day with a glass of port by the fire pit.
