Steps

Today's Challenge is Steps, the best view of these steps would be going down to the beach this Sunday afternoon in the middle of a W.A Winter, that would be today! The Indiana Tea House stands on Cottesloe Beach originally built in 1910 as a Public Baths where the public would pay to take a bath. Then closed in its later years when there was no longer use for it.
It remained empty for a long time then the lease was sold and it became a restaurant and cafe around 1996 which it still is to this day, the owner (who also owns Frasers Of Kings Park) wants to spend 1.5 million on a re-vamp of the building but stumbling blocks by the Cottesloe Council has put a hold on that and a more modest amount is to be spent just on a new coat of paint and face lift.
Personally I wouldn't want to see the building changed in anyway its become a landmark now for tourists as well as the people of W.A.
We enjoyed a picnic in the grounds of the Cottesloe Civic Centre opposite the Indiana (with even more steps) now there stands another interesting Building and grounds the house was built in 1911. Another future blip.
The walk along the Beach front was the end of our wonderful weekend.
Hope all my friends on blip had a wonderful w/end too.
