White Horses, The Boy From Lapland and Sebastian, does anyone else remember these programs that were a staple of children's television before mayhem and the gunk tank took over , simpler serials all filmed in the middle european countries, Yugoslavia, Latvia & the like, in black & white & always poorly dubbed, my Mum would sit us down after we came in from school with a drink & home made cake, the box in the corner would be switched on & transport us to far off lands where children would have adventures far more exciting than we ever seemed to have.
Took a walk around The Tarn this morning, the weather has turned somewhat, well it is the weekend, but it was still quite pleasant, when I spotted this White horse it brought to mind the theme song from White Horses, funny what you remember from forty something years ago.
